The ideal figure or physique is always being sought by individuals who are not happy with their shape but the wait is just too much for some desperate to change the way they look. It is the fast-track system approach these people want and they are not concerned about the effects it can have. The answer for these people lies in the world of rapid weight loss even though the effectiveness of this is grossly exaggerated.
Research has shown that fast-tracking weight loss is not always as effective as many would have us believe. Rapid weight loss diet programs, as scientific research shows, are only good while they last and rapid weight loss often results ironically, to rapid weight gain.
The research shows that people that are on these special low calorie / carbohydrate diets become bored with them which is quite natural and end up going back to their old eating habits quite quickly. Now research is showing that rapid weight loss is probably more attributable to body water loss and not body fat that the diet companies would have you believe.
Usually, this lost water will return so no weight loss has really been experienced and there is always the danger from other side effects as well. These diets will only dehydrate the body and just so it is clear, the body can only lose two pounds of fat per week and a person would be exceptionally lucky if they could lose three, but normally, it’s just two.
One of the latest ideas to hit the rapid weight loss market is the slimming soap which promises the user that if used on all the body during a bath then the soap will emulsify and shed the body fat; it is also claimed to be completely natural and only contains a mixture of herbs and seaweed. This sounds really good except there isn’t any proof it works and the only results observed so far have been improvements in the users skin.
A more recent product to hit the weight loss market place promises much with increased energy and hunger suppression. More than this, the manufacturer also claims that helps with the body’s self healing mechanism and reduces some pains but is sounds more like a fashion accessory.
According to the marketing, wearing the magnets improves the magnetic balance of the wearer and they can expect to benefit from all the effects mentioned previously. It all sounds very scientific but to date no studies or research of any kind has been carried out or published in any medical journals.
Bottom line is no pain, no gain, if a person wants a beautiful body, they must work for it and as for those rapid weight loss products coming out on the market, if they sound too good to be true, they probably are.
