Pregnancy transforms a woman’s body like no other life event. When you were pregnant, you ate for two and made sure that your baby got what it needs.

After you cheerfully welcomed your adorable little one(s) to the world, you soon discovered that your maternity gave you much, much more. You have blown up like a balloon, your muscles have shriveled away, and your eating habits are out of control. The “baby fat” from your pregnancy has officially destroyed your self-confidence.

So you went on and tried fad diets (who hasn’t). But what you discovered is that fad diets only led you to a cycle of gaining and losing, which messed up your metabolism. I too learned my lessons the hard way. Luckily, there are several ridiculously simple ways to lose baby fat other than fad diets.

1. Diets Don’t Work. If you constantly starve yourself or count calories, you are only going to stress yourself out. You should focus on eating fresh food and eating for your active lifestyle instead. Forget about calories. As long as you are eating balanced meals and fueling your workouts, they will be put on autopilot.

2. Exercise Smartly. Exercise is an integral part of any weight loss plan. However, you do not have to spend hours in the gym to achieve results. In fact, all it takes is a 15 minute session of light aerobics and strength-training to get your metabolism going.

3. Build Muscles. Again, with short sessions of exercises that target certain muscle groups, you can and will build muscles that tone your body and incinerate baby fat. Your muscles will maintain high metabolism throughout the day. The food you eat will get turned into muscle tissues rather than a part of the baby fat.

4. Changes in Your Habits Accelerate Baby Fat Loss. Your body will get used to any routine activity, which will slow your baby fat loss. However, if you rotate your meal plans and exercises frequently, your body will get confused, and your metabolism will stay high as a result. So change it up, and enjoy watching all the baby fat melt away.

As you can see, losing weight and baby fat isn’t as difficult as it seems. You do not have to go through any strenuous routines to get results. The trick is to follow a well-designed plan that is healthy and is constantly changing. In a few short weeks, you will lose baby fat and your man will be dying to get his hands on you.
