How many times have you heard that there is nothing we can do, you’ve got arthritis. If you haven’t heard it yourself, I bet you know someone who has. Osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, is one of the oldest and most common types of arthritis. It is characterized by the breakdown of the joint’s cartilage; the part of the joint that cushions the ends of bones, causing bones to rub against each other, causing pain and loss of movement. Most commonly affecting middle-aged and older people, osteoarthritis can range from very mild to very severe. It affects hands and weight-bearing joints such as knees, hips, feet and the back.

There are many factors that can cause osteoarthritis, and although age is a risk factor, research has shown that osteoarthritis is not an inevitable part of aging! There are many causes including obesity, joint injuries and genetics. As a person ages, these defects may cause early cartilage breakdown in the joint which could cause inflammation, a release of enzymes, and more cartilage damage. What if I told you arthritis has a reasonable explanation most doctors and scientists have completely overlooked? What if I told you with this knowledge, it may be possible to slow down the progression of arthritis and ease the pain? And what if I told you I have scientific proof to back it up? Would you be interested?

If you’re not interested yet after you read these chilling statistics, you will be. Osteoarthritis affects an estimated 20.7 million Americans, mostly after age 45. Women are more commonly affected than men. Osteoarthritis is responsible for more than 7 million physician visits per year Eighty percent of people with osteoarthritis report some form of limitation in movement or activities. Knee osteoarthritis can be as disabling as any cardiovascular disease except stroke. As many as half the people who have osteoarthritis do not know what type of arthritis they have and cannot make informed decisions about their care because treatment options vary among the more than 100 forms of arthritis. Musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis cost the U.S. economy nearly $65 billion per year in direct expenses and lost wages and production.

Enough about that. Let me ask you a question: What happens to the wheels on your car if the alignment on the front end is messed up? They wear out… right? Not only do they wear out…they wear out FASTER than they should.

So what do you do when the front end of your car’s alignment is messed up? You take it to the mechanic to get an alignment. As soon as he does this, the abnormal stress on your tires stops…and…your tires stop wearing out abnormally. The same is technique applies to your spine and the other joints of your body. The joints in your spine CAN misalign…causing them to unnaturally move or not move at all. Witch ever it is, this can cause abnormal stress and strain. Your joints are like the tires of your car and just like the tires on your car when the front end is out of alignment…your joints wear out. This is…Osteo or Degenerative Arthritis!

There was a doctor that did extensive arthritis research and found that when he caused a joint to not work right, microscopic damage was detected within 24 hours. PERMANENT degenerative changes took place within 3 weeks! This means that when your joints misalign and get “stuck,” arthritic changes begin to occur almost immediately and permanent. IRRIVERSABLE damage may be present within just 3 weeks. So how Do You Fix This Problem?

Simple. Take a look at what you did when the front end of your car was out of alignment. You went to someone who specializes in detecting and correcting misaligned front ends on cars. Know this: Your mechanic didn’t put something in your gas tank or oil to try to “chemically” realign your wheels. No. That wouldn’t make sense. He simply realigned the wheels. Listen, the same is true with your body. What makes you think taking a drug or rubbing on a lotion will realign your joints? It won’t. Sure, powerful painkillers may mask the problem for a while…but…what happens when they wear off?

The bottom line is: If your joints are misaligned, they will continue to degenerate and, Chiropractic Helps Align Misaligned Joints! This happens in Your Hands, Knees, Ankles, Feet, Neck, Low Back, & Your Entire Spinal Column! By making your joints function properly, you will live a life with less stiffness and pain.

Doesn’t it make better sense that routine chiropractic care will also slow down and possibly halt much of the degenerative process and arthritis? Don’t Wait Until You Have Joint Pain. Seek chiropractic care before it happens! And don’t forget, if you ever have any questions or concerns about your health, talk to us. Contact us with your, questions. We’re here to help, and don’t enjoy anything more than participating in your life long good health! It may be the best decision you ever make.

Everybody knows a healthful diet is the key to living a healthful life. what many people are not aware of is that it can also play a massive role in the danger of developing arthritis. An individual’s diet immediately is affecting their weight and food allergies, each of which are immediately related to arthritis. Eating healthfully is a key way of both stopping and handling arthritis.

One big way that diet is related to arthritis is that it without delay has effects on your body weight. Body weight is a major risk factor for arthritis. The danger is quite straightforward to realise : the more that one weighs, the higher their possibility of developing arthritis. Yet, this phenomenon isn’t so easy to control in the real world.

When someone develops arthritis due to their weight, it puts immense stress on their joints. This makes it difficult to move and walk, let alone exercise. Many obese or overweight people who are affected by arthritis often adopt a sedentary lifestyle and yet, this only makes the problem worse. The vicious cycle is extremely difficult to deal with. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis patients are commonly affected by this never-ending cycle.

It is more important than ever to monitor your diet if you have arthritis, because having arthritis makes exercise nearly impossible! You can begin managing your arthritis through a diet by avoiding alcohol, sodium, fat, cholesterol, and sugar.

Another reason to monitor your diet when you have arthritis is because certain foods can trigger arthritis flares. Certain foods can impact the immune system, and affect the production of anti-inflammatory compounds. Rashes, hives, and asthma are all allergic reactions that could indicate that you have consumed a food that is also an arthritis flare.

There are a few other foods that would presumably cause an arthritis flare or worsen arthritis. These foods include : red meats, chocolate, additions and chemicals, caffeine, salt, and dairy goods.

If you have arthritis and are attempting to manage your diet, there are a few tips that would be of help. First off, break on grapes, pineapples, and other fruits. Many fruits contain the compound resveratrol, which is famous for obstructing cell redness. In addition, eating veg, especially broccoli, is understood to reduce swelling. Fish is also a sensible choice as it is high in omega-3 trans acids, which can help decrease redness.

For folk that suffer from arthritis, diet might seem to be a non-essential thing to stress about. Yet, the connection between diet and arthritis is quite clear. Your diet is a modifiable risk factor for arthritis and it might be something you want to change.

Back pain caused by arthritis is frequently doubly painful because the aches and pains may at times feel bone deep. Arthritis back pain differs from muscular aches and pains because it is actually a symptom of soft cartilage destruction, which normally protects each of the bones in the spine. Thus, an approach to arthritis back pain relief that really works is to lessen spinal pain rather than discomfort in the back's tissues and muscles.

One of the most painful forms of back pain, which can be felt right down to the bones, is the back pain driven by arthritis. Back pain caused by arthritis is different from muscular aches and pains in the back because it is in fact a symptom of the destruction of the soft cartilage that is supposed to protect each spinal bone. Because of this, you can get arthritis back pain relief by easing spinal pain, not pain in the back’s muscles or tissues.

There are many factors that contribute to arthritic back pain and these include the effects of genetics, injury and movement of the back that is sometimes repeated. Back injuries and repeated movements of the back and spine are pressures that can contribute to arthritic-related back pain. As it turns out, this is the most likely place to be afflicted by arthritis.

Pain associated with arthritis is a result of the fact that the area that is impacted is usually inflamed and swollen. If you choose the proper kind of relief for arthritis back pain relief, it will address these issues effectively. Arthritis back pain relief in itself is not a remedy to the disease, yet it assuages the suffering of the patient. While arthritis in your back cannot be ignored, a proper approach to pain relief will make it manageable.

Back pain relief for muscles and tissues is very similar to the treatment needed for arthritic back pain. This is owing to the fact that any problem with the cartilage has a bearing on the muscles and tissues in the spinal region too. This is where much of the pain will be felt. While arthritis back pain relief can be akin to pain relief for upper or lower back pain, there are also a few products specifically made for back pain because of arthritis.

Obviously, products used for back pain due to arthritis are a temporary treatment and will not cure the patient of arthritis. But using pain relievers and other drugs is an excellent approach to pain relief for those looking for the best kind of back pain treatments for arthritis. The downside to chemical drugs and medicines is that they can leave their ill-effects on the vital parts of your system. Therefore it’s critical that you work closely with your doctor when it comes to taking pain medication, particularly for extended periods of time.

Back pain is a real problem in our world today. It can be a seriously debilitating condition, and it’s not always easy to treat.
