The treadmill certainly feels sturdy at a beefy 300 pounds. Even more impressively, it can handle up to 400 pounds on the deck. They are 2.75 inches, which means they work less and last longer.

You get a huge 3.5 HP motor, which is akin to having a V8 on your treadmill, but you also get plenty of attractive extras.
